Court: Assange allowed to Sweden delivered
Wikileaks-founder Julian Assange be allowed to be extradited to Sweden. This was decided by a British court on Thursday in London. In Sweden, to the Australians, who is currently in the UK, responsible for alleged sexual offenses from justice. The Swedish public prosecutor had issued an international arrest warrant against Assange and demanded his extradition on that basis.
The judge's decision should not be the end of the procedure. It is expected that Assange challenge defending the verdict. Now, they have seven days. The court must then decide in another 40 days whether it accepts the appeal. At least up to this decision Assange can initially remain in the UK, where he has lived since December, under strict conditions on the estate of a friend.
The sentence was preceded by a three-day hearing.
