Rct3 How To Leave Helicoptor

Los Reyes Magos

was already in a polythene food, I noticed that the English courses usually only after 6 January relapse. Now I finally know why. The Three Kings in Spain are not only important, no, it's a big event that affects the entire population! We see on the balconies not only Santa Claus figures, but the Three Kings - as well as in the windows.

Supermarkets are full of different varieties the "Roscón de Reyes (Epiphany cake, literally translated as" snail "(because of the shape) of the Kings). The cake is decorated with candied of yeast dough and fruit (oranges and cherries) and filled with cream, truffle paste or chocolate, or just not filling.

I am lucky that my English roommate Juan has worked in a bakery. Therefore, he bought a Roscón de Reyes made without charge and the charge itself. Yummy! Hidden in the filling is a porcelain figurine. Who will be crowned the king of all. Therefore, in each Roscón de Reyes also a golden cardboard crown here. Moreover, in the Roscón de Reyes is hiding a bean. Whoever finds the need to pay the cake for all guests.

On the evening of 5 January is traditionally "de los Reyes Magos Cabalgata" the place. In Murcia already weeks before the plastic chairs on the Gran Vía was let, as the train takes one hour in total. I had secured a free general admission to Deutsche Bank and came to talk with a Brazilian, who was standing next to me. They looked at for the first time the Cabalgata - because of their small daughter.

Actually, the Cabalgata begin at 18:30 clock, But here we are in Spain, they only started at 19:15 clock. I slowly got used to it. According to the police car came by messenger newspaper "La Verdad" (= "the truth", daily newspaper of Murcia). They looked as if they came from another century. They praised her Front Page: The Three Kings come to Murcia! They distributed the "special editions", in which a children's story for the night of 6 January was printed.

Then came fire trucks and buses. Any local companies could advertise and of course also had dulces (sweets) for the children there.

Then I remembered the fantasy parade at Christmas. Squid, sharks and Nemo came as huge figures to me. In addition, figures from the movie "Madagascar" and Aladdin with a huge magic lamp. The figures came up to the audience and the children scrambled over each other to take once Nemo. And "Spongebob" and the characters in the film "Kiss Me, Frog" were there.

The concession to Christmas was a car with angel figurines and girls and boys, the shepherds wore costumes.

addition, there were many orchestra made the music and Christmas carols were playing.

The circus is in town, had a big car and, against some tricks. For a large car, the Brazilian said to her daughter next to me: "Atención, los Caramelos" (Attention, sweets!) Then off we went, because of the large car threw the fantasy figures tons sweets. It was like Mardi Gras! They also threw stuffed animals that they shot of "guns" out. The children scrambled to get everything, but I also got hold of a piece of candy.

At the end of the train were three large crowns and large car port for each king, the were very ornate.

ran after the one-hour move, the spectators all back in the city, since we wanted to experience the mailbox pick by the Reyes Magos.

I waited quite long, because the king passed through many streets. When they arrived at the Plaza de Santo Domingo, there was already considerable press attention. They waved and the children rushed up to her. One of the kings said, "Hello" and I thought: Wow, this is someone English! She once went to the mailbox and then got even with the bags of mail. Whether our inside as well was it? Determined. Then they posed again in front of the mailbox and went further into the City. In any case, it was a good experience.

today morning when I got up in the living room was a package that said, Lisa. The kings were there! Or maybe my roommate Juan? ;-) In the package there were two English books. Full-great! Christmas Gifts, Gifts for the Epiphany! I should take this tradition with them to Germany. I like it well. :-)
